It's supposed to show you the world you want to make, and this is like starting a Batman movie with Bruce sitting on the can pooping out blood because he's been kicked in the stomach SO MANY TIMES. At best it would be "hey, I've got some really really dark ideas about this character, but he's not going to survive anyway because he is a villain and in no way do I need this to be part of this game."
Now I understand my group wasn't your group, but for the love of god and maybe I'm being naive here but every group I've ever played with, I don't see anyone going "Oh, I'm playing a child molester. Meanwhile the poor guy who was playing this nutball is probably already out the door. If I as a GM force some of this behavior? The character gets ashed and I get some VERY UNPLEASANT looks from my players, and my chance of being decked by somebody who can life a refrigerator is increased by a small but still too high percentage depending on how I respond to my actions. If the group finds out, the adventure gets derailed as this character get's ashed, vacuumed up, turned into cement, and thrown in the harbor. I mean, I don't know about you guys, but for my normal gaming group? If I put this character in the hands of any of my players, they don't want to play him. They decided that THIS Ventrue really summed up what they wanted to play.
